Good morning! It’s Wedding Wednesday and we are so excited to have the owners of Bear Mountain Inn on our blog today. Brian and Julie have owned the inn for just a little over two years and have made their beautiful inn the place to get married. “After many years of being successful business owners, we wanted to try something different. We love working with people and the idea of being in the business to created fond memories for guests really appealed to us. We traveled around the country looking for business opportunities and finally found the Bear Mountain Inn that needed a lot of work, but saw the potential. We are a full-service bed and breakfast resort that caters to weddings and events. With our newly renovated barn space and different outdoor space options, the Inn is fresh, hip and relaxing. Our location is divine, perfectly perched at the base of Maine’s White Mountains, in the lakes region of Waterford. We are proud of the renovations, offering a rustic yet chic farmhouse and event venue that marries history and heritage with the modern services and amenities that today’s authentic traveler craves.

We like to think we are no strangers to hospitality management, and when we decided to take our show on the road, we both had the opportunity to work at New England camping resorts, traveling the country for 15 months in an RV, ingraining ourselves in with the guests to learn about travelers’ habits and preferences. Brian’s experience includes being an owner/partner of a Boston-area graphic design and marketing firm and Julie co-owned a successful Agri-tourism apple orchard west of Boston for 23 years. Julie coordinated and managed day-to-day operations of the orchard, as well as corporate and special events, and booked entertainment.

We love people! We love being a part of a bride’s special day, creating memories to last a lifetime! And, we love love love, sitting down with couples, groups, companies, individuals to get to know their personalities so we can then turn their dream into a reality!”
