When I woke up the morning of Drew and Samantha’s wedding day, I am not going to lie, I was so worried about the weather. No, it wasn’t my first wedding that would have bad weather, but I always just want their days to be as perfect as possible. The morning was dark and gray and the sky was just on the edge of opening up and raining down upon us. It took me about an two hours to get to the Colony Hotel in Kennebunkport and I prayed to the rain gods to just let this pass so that we could create the most magical photos ever. And guess what? The sky literally cleared up within an hour of me being there and the sun was out and warming our skin. Samantha and Drew could now marry in front of their closest family and friends on the lawn overlooking the water. It was simply gorgeous and this couple was an absolute dream to work with.
