Erin and Mike spend a lot of time up in Rockwood. It’s where they met! So getting married up on Moosehead Lake with Mount Kineo as the backdrop just made sense for them 🙂
I’ve known Erin and Mike for quite a while now so when she reached out over a year ago for me to be their wedding photographer I couldn’t wait to respond with “Yes!” however, I was also in Rockwood and had zero cell service so the response had to wait until Verizon got around to giving me some reception bars 😉
Their day couldn’t have been more beautiful. Erin poured so much time and effort into all the little details – I even asked if she was going to keep some of the area rugs she’d gotten for the reception because well, I would’ve bought them off of her!
The final photo of the day ended with fireworks and I couldn’t help but smile as their last formality of the evening fit them so well! I took photos and watched Mike and Erin lean into each other, twirl around, and watch the fireworks.
