How it all began…Christina and Jeremy’s story is the classic tale of a girl meeting her best friend’s husband’s cousin’s friend and falling in love with him. And a guy hearing from all his friends about the cool new girl from the ski trip and falling in love with her.

A few months after moving to Boston and shortly after the fateful introduction from Erica Mendonca and her husband Steve to Jeremy’s roommate Ryan Wonsor, Christina and Jeremy met as he was leaving his house to play hockey. He lent her a pair of socks because his house didn’t have heat (which she held on to as a way to see him again…oldest trick in the book). Christina, being from California, couldn’t believe that Jeremy (or anyone) owned his own ice skates and could just randomly go skating on a nearby frozen pond.

Over the next few months Christina and Jeremy saw more and more of each other, including running a half marathon together, many late Thursday nights out following their beach volleyball games, and a fateful trip to Chicago. Six months after meeting, Jeremy asked Christina to be his girlfriend after a Red Sox game on the 5th of July. Fast forward through two and a half years of app crawls, a book of plans, and countless trips and Jeremy proposed to Christina in the woods in New Hampshire.

Who can say what it was that brought Christina and Jeremy together? Was it the love stone Christina purchased from a witch in Salem, MA shortly after moving to Boston? Was it Dozer working his magic? Were their chakras and horoscopes simply aligned in retrograde?

Whatever it was, the last 3 years have been the most amazing time in our lives and we can’t wait to get married among all of our family and friends in Maine on May 28, 2021!

And if you’re wondering why the story about the skates… for Christina’s 30th birthday, Jeremy remembered the conversation with her on that first day, and got her a pair of her very own ice skates….just like Kristi Yamaguchi 🙂

Christina + Jeremy were married on May 28, 2021 at the beautiful Barn at Flanagan Farm in Buxton, ME. It was gorgeous weather and this group was ready to party. They said I do in a secluded area in the woods before headed to the tent for a lovely dinner. And, before getting the party started in the barn the couple enjoyed a piece of cake that was surrounded by so many sparklers. It was so spectacular. It was true honor to be a part of their day and I would like to take a moment to relive their day below. Enjoy!
